Hello,
we use GSA 5.2.0.0
In this Version i have Problems with printing analysis-cards.

1. Legend of the Analysis objects was not printed
The Legend was defined at the plotmaster, but only the objects of the foreground card where printed.

The objects of the Analysis Card wasn't printed in the legend.
Are there any other Options to Show the Analysis objects in the legend ?

2. Foreground was Always printed
At the Theme Control you can take on or take off the foreground with this Button 1607524962105.png, so the foreground objects where shown in the Analysis Card or not.
While the print procedure you can't make a choice if you will print what you see on the Analysis Card.
For example:
On the analysis Card the foreground was take off.
At the print, the foreground was always printed.
At an older GSA Version the Button works on the print too.
Is this a failure of this Version ? Or are there other Options ?

I hope someone can help me.
Thanks a lot.

Hi Stefan,

This sounds very similar to an issue that was addressed in GSA 5.2.0.8.
See the next item in the resolved issues in that release:
  • 12202: Analysis elements don't appear in plot legend
Another related item might be the next one, which was resolved in a the later release GSA 5.2.1.1.
  • 13166: In analysis, elements appear double in plot legend with foreground layer visible
So, it looks like the best way forward would be to upgrade to a later release.

Furthermore, with respect to controlling the visibilities of analysis elements in the legend, some information can be found in the documentation.
Especially the Creating a Legend for a Thematic Map section might be of interest.

Regards,

Frank

Hi Frank,

thank you very much for informations.
It seems to bee a failure of our and further GSA Versions.

I have a Question to your Information About "Creating a Legend...".
I have found this:

On the right side you see our dialog.
Are these new options (Legend, header, Reverse,...) of the latest version, or should exists in our version too ?
Or do we need an other GSA product ?
Our Product:

Thanks a lot in advance

Hi Stefan,
It is always good to be up to date regarding GSA versions; improvements and fixes come with every version, so I would recommend that. I also see that you are on a 32 bit version, please note that memory usage of a 64 bit version is better (32 bit is limited); so I would recommend to have both the operating system and application at 64 bit.
I have checked in the latest version of GSA and the options are the same as you are showing. The difference is to be found in where you (right mouse) click.

Hope that makes sense!
Cheers, Mark

Hi Mark,
thanks a lot.
I have clicked at the wrong Position.
After your Information i have learned something, it works with our Version.
But i have still the Problem: the object is not printed in the legend while the Option is selected.
So i think we have to Change to the newest release.

With regards
Stefan

Hi Stefan,
You're welcome! Yes, I guess that is because of the issue that has been mentioned by Frank and therefore (probably) will be solved by using at least the GSA version mentioned.
Best regards, Mark

Hi Mark,
my Problem has been solved.
We made an Upgrade on 5.2.6.1 32 bit.
The legend will be printed now.
Thanks a lot.

With regards
Stefan
